The Bureau of Market Research (BMR) at the University of South Africa (Unisa) has been in existence for almost 60 years. This legacy has always nurtured sound academic, scientific and innovative research practices. To keep track with the latest research developments and practices, the Behavioural and Communication Research Division of the BMR, at the start of 2016, introduced the first Consumer Neuroscience Research Laboratory in Africa. This laboratory aims to find psychophysiological explanations for human behaviour and continuously focuses on current and future uses of neuroscience in business.
